Abstract

This study investigated the evaluation of broadcast media campaign against economic hardship in Nigeria: a case study of channel television. The study adopted the survey research method with questionnaire as its main tool. Four hundred (400) respondents form of the sample size of the study. The study was anchored on the agenda setting theory. Findings of the study revealed that channel television which one of most leading national television air economic hardship programmes and news frequently there is no Nigerian that is not affected by the economic hardship.The study concludes that Nigerians have negative perceptions towards president Tinubu economic policies which has been the major factors that affect governance in our nation. The study recommends, Government at all level should provide more jobs and empowerment opportunities to her citizens this will help a lot to reduce on economic ship in the country, among others.
