Abstract

Safe motherhood means ensuring women have access to informations and guidelines to go through pregnancy and achieve successful delivery ,maximum health of mother and baby. This study below shows the knowledge of safe motherhood practices among women of reproductive age (15 to 45 years)in Oteri Community Ughelli North Local Delta State. Oteri Community is a small town in Ughelli North Local Government. A Quantitative and Descriptive survey was used for the study. The study aimed specifically on assessing the level of knowledge,identify the perceived barriers on safe motherhood practices.
