DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF PROGRAMMABLE LOAD TIMER
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This project presents the design and construction of an Arduino-based programmable timed load control system. The system is designed to control electrical loads based on a user-defined schedule, providing automation for various applications such as lighting control, industrial machinery, and home appliances. The system utilizes an Arduino microcontroller, a real-time clock (RTC) module, a relay module, and an LCD display for user interaction. Users can set the operational time through a keypad interface, ensuring precise and reliable automation. The proposed system aims to enhance energy efficiency, reduce human intervention, and improve convenience, it also has an input sensor that monitors the input voltage form the mains to also bypass system to activate load even when the programmed time elapses.
