Abstract

This research work focus on the effect of strong organization culture on employee's performance in study of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe – Oghara. Questionnaire were design to elicit information from the respondent the sample random sampling procedure was used in the selection of respondents from the organization under study. hypothesis was formulated to examine or establish the relationship between organizational culture and employees performance, and the hypothesis was tested using chi-square formula 0.05 level of significant. Finding reveal that there is a strong mutual relationship between organizational culture and employees performance was also finding out that regular promotion enhance employee's performance thereby leading to organizational development. Base on these it was recommended that Delta State Polytechnic should embark on carrying out cultural audit; a corporate culture profile will be of use in establishing the desire change as well as implement the desire culture that will promote the desire value system. In conclusion, in other to achieve a successful culture, managers should not ignore organizational culture and its themes such as dominant characteristics leadership and employee's participation and management.
