Abstract
This study investigates the influence of mobile phones on agricultural productivity, awareness and knowledge among women farmers in Agbor, Ika South local government
Area of Delta state. The study adopted the survey research method with questionnaire
as its main instrument. Four hundred (400) respondents form the sample size of the study. The diffusion ofinnovation theory was used to explain the study. Findings of the study shows that the women in Agbor use mobile phones to acquire in Agbor use mobile phones to acquire agricultural information but whether the information is up-to-date is a matter of conjecture.
