Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study explores the relevance of integrating mathematics into physics instruction in secondary schools. Through a systematic analysis of both document and literature reviews, the study investigates the extent of integration, teachers' perspectives and practices, and students' perceptions and learning outcomes associated with integrated mathematics and physics education. The findings highlight the importance of integrating mathematical concepts into physics instruction to enhance student engagement, academic achievement, and interdisciplinary understanding. Despite challenges such as teacher preparedness, limited resources, and time constraints, effective instructional strategies, collaboration among stakeholders, and alignment of curriculum standards emerge as promising practices for promoting successful integration. The study underscores the significance of integrated STEM education in preparing students for future success in STEM fields and provides valuable insights for future research and practice in this area.
