Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study analysed on Impact Of Socio-Economic Status, Bmi On Sugar Control Among Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The aim of this research is To determine the mean value of fasting blood sugar among clients from the metropolis; To determine the mean value of fasting blood sugar among clients outside the metropolis. the study analysed on group 1 and group 2 blood sugar, therefore diabetic patients outside the metropolis as compared to that of those inside the metropolis [P value < 0.05;]. Although, higher amount of fat mass and fat percentage was observed among those inside the metropolis as compared to that of those outside the metropolise (P value < 0.05), no statistically significant difference was observed with reference to the underweight mass [P value > 0.05;]. Significant positive correlation was observed between in body fat mass values [P value < 0.05;]. The study suggests the need for developing a health policy to ameliorate socioeconomic inequalities, in particular income and education-related disparities in type 2 diabetes, along with risk factors at the individual level. In addition, future investigations of type 2 diabetes among Nigerian should pay more attention to the social determinants of diabetes in order to understand, this is the reason why more research need to conduct on this aspect, maybe another student can takeover and continue.
