This research study examined the influence of non-current assets and profitability of selected listed manufacturing companies in Nigeria: an empirical evidence of Champion Breweries Plc. In recent years, the inadequate production of consumer goods and Nigeria with regard to demand has caused high prices for consumer goods and sometimes scarcity in the market. This could be as a result of inadequate plant and machinery. The inadequate plant and machinery create low production activities, while surplus investment in land and buildings do not directly affect the production of consumer goods. The problem of scarcity of often leads to the importation of consumer goods into the country, causing capital flight and foreign exchange. This could be as a result of inadequate plant and machinery. The research study deployed ex-poet facto research design of the study. The study employed time series analysis method in obtaining the data used for analysis. The time series data covers from 2014-2023 accounting year. The study made use of descriptive statistics like frequency tables and simple percentages to analyse data collected and simple linear regression method of analysis was used to test the hypothesis at 0.5% level of significance. Finding among others revealed that there is a significant influence of tangible non-current assets on profitability of selected listed manufacturing companies in Nigeria proxy as investment in property, plant and equipment and profit for the year for the period of 2014-2023. Base on this and other findings, the study recommended among others that companies and the government regulatory body for companies (CAMA) should make sure that a great part of the profit generated from business operation will be used in the acquisition of property, plant, and equipment (PPE) for the company.
