Abstract

This project focuses on the development of an IoT-based fire safety system designed for enhanced detection, monitoring, and mitigation of fire hazards in laboratory environments. The system integrates flame, smoke (MQ-2), and temperature (LM35) sensors with an Arduino microcontroller and Node MCU ESP8266 for real-time monitoring and data transmission. Upon detecting anomalies such as excessive heat, smoke, or flames, the system triggers a buzzer for local alerts and sends notifications to designated personnel through cloud-based platforms.
