Abstract

ABSTRACT The focus of this research work is on "the effect of salaries and wages on workers performance" the main objective of this study is to examine the effects of salaries and wages on workers performance". The method of data collection used is questionnaire and personal interview. Percentages were used to analyze data while the chi-square statistical tools were used to test the formulated hypothesis. The research sample size is fifty four (54). Research findings revealed that salaries and wages are extremely important to banks performance and also to every other organization. The analysis revealed that there is a significant relationship between salaries and wages and workers performance. Having carried out this research work, it was recommended that the bank and every other organization should work on its salaries and wages plan as it helps motivate workers.
