Abstract

The increasing reliance on digital data necessitates robust and efficient backup and recovery solutions. Traditional backup methods often fall short in terms of scalability, accessibility, and security. This project aims to address these limitations by designing and implementing a cloud-based backup and recovery system. The system will leverage cloud computing technologies to provide secure, reliable, and scalable data protection. The proposed system will incorporate features such as automated backup scheduling, incremental backups, data encryption, and version control. Additionally, it will provide a user-friendly web interface for managing backup and recovery operations. By utilizing cloud storage services, the system will ensure data redundancy and disaster recovery capabilities. This project will involve the following key phases: system design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The system design phase will focus on defining the system architecture, data flow, and security protocols. The implementation phase will involve the development of the system components, including the backup client, cloud storage integration, and web interface. The testing phase will rigorously evaluate the system's functionality, performance, and security. Finally, the deployment phase will involve deploying the system to a cloud environment and making it accessible to users. Through the successful implementation of this cloud-based backup and recovery system, organizations can enhance their data protection strategies and minimize the risk of data loss.
