Abstract

ABSTRACT Elemental Analysis of Melia Azedarach Leaf Extract: Unlocking its Phytochemical Potential The Melia Azedarach plant, commonly known as Neem or Chinaberry, has been revered for its medicinal properties for centuries. This study focuses on the elemental analysis of Melia Azedarach leaf extract, aiming to identify and quantify the bioactive compounds responsible for its therapeutic effects. Using advanced analytical techniques such as Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), we investigated the elemental composition of the leaf extract, revealing a rich profile of macroelements (Ca, Mg, K) and microelements (Zn, Fe, Cu). Our findings highlight the plant's potential as a sustainable source of essential nutrients and phytochemicals, with implications for pharmaceutical, agricultural, and environmental applications. This research contributes to the understanding of Melia Azedarach's phytochemical profile, paving the way for further exploration and utilization of its bioactive compounds.
