Abstract

Noise pollution has become a significant environmental issue affecting human health, social well-being, and ecological balance. This project investigates the major sources of noise pollution, including transportation systems, industrial activities, construction work, and domestic noise, and analyze their impact on communities. Using measured noise levels and comparative data, the study evaluates how exposure to excessive sound levels contributes to hearing loss, stress, sleep disturbance, reduced productivity, and environmental degradation. The project also reviews regulatory standards, current control measures, and modern noise-mitigation technologies. Findings highlight the urgent need for effective noise management policies, improved urban planning, and public awareness to minimize harmful noise exposure. The study concludes that reducing noise pollution is essential for promoting healthier living environments and sustainable development.
