Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study explores the design, development, and implementation of fire detection and suppression
systems leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The integration of sensors,
microcontrollers, and wireless networks forms the foundation of these systems, enabling real-time
monitoring and automated responses to fire outbreaks. The research reviews various models and
methodologies, including vision-based flame detection, multi-sensor integration for heat, smoke,
and flame monitoring, and automated water sprinklers triggered by fire events. Key components
such as infrared flame sensors, temperature and humidity detectors, and GSM communication
modules are highlighted for their roles in enhancing system efficiency and reliability. These
systems not only reduce response time but also minimize false alarms and property damage.
Advanced features, such as remote notifications via Android applications and cloud-based data
analysis, improve situational awareness for stakeholders, including firefighters and building
managers. This study demonstrates the potential of IoT-based solutions to revolutionize fire safety,
offering scalable and adaptive models suitable for homes, industries, and remote areas prone to
fire hazards
