Abstract

This work is based on electric soldering bank which is an electrical device used for soldering tasks. It comprises soldering tools connected to the unit, third hand support, soldering iron stand, and other accessories. The device was first built on a breadboard which is later transferred to Vero board and soldered. The device was completely built and coupled, the result during the test shows that the charger was able to respond to its operation. This project work is on a DC soldering iron joins two metal work pieces by means of a third metal (solder) at a relatively low temperature, which is above the melting point of the solder but lower the melting point of either of the material being joined. This device composes of a heating element and a copper tip. Soldering iron tips are made of copper core plated with iron. The copper is used for heat transfer and the iron plating is used for durability.
