IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON LEADERSHIP STYLES (A CASE STUDY OF INTERNATIONAL BREWERIES, SAGAMU)
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Organizational culture has an important impact in shaping the dynamics and functioning of any institution. It serves as the collective mindset that guides employees' behavior, decision-making processes, and overall work environment. The nexus between organizational culture and leadership styles is symbiotic and reciprocal. Leadership styles are not imposed from the top-down; rather, they evolve organically within the cultural context of an organization
The total number of respondents in this survey was 200, and they were divided into international breweries employees. The quantitative analysis test, which includes the validity test, reliability test, classic assumptions test, and hypothesis test, is used in the data analysis process. Organizational culture and leadership styles are independent variables in this study. Organizations’ performance is the dependent variable in this study. The findings of this study reveal that organizational culture and leadership styles have a significant or minor impact on the performance of international breweries organizations. The two independent variables have a significant point that supports the hypothesis. As a result, it is widely assumed that organizational culture and leadership styles have an impact on the functioning of international breweries organizations.
The research employs a regression analysis approach to quantify the relationship between organizational culture and leadership styles. Data were collected from multiple organizations across different industries through surveys that measured cultural dimensions and leadership styles. The regression analysis allowed for identifying significant predictors of leadership effectiveness based on cultural variables.
