AN ASSESSMENT OF WHISTLEBLOWER POLICY AND CORRUPTION ERADICATION IN THE NIGERIA PUBLIC SERVICE
Abstract
The study investigate the assessment of whistleblower policy and corruption eradication in the Nigeria public service. The specific objectives are to; expose the content of the whistleblowing policy, assess the impact of the policy on reducing corruption in the Nigeria public service, identify the challenges faced in implementing the policy effectively and provide the recommendations for improving the policy’s effectiveness in combating corruption.
The study employ a simple random sampling method to guarantee that all respondents have an equal chance of being represented in the study. The research instruments for the study was questionnaire. The questionnaire was designed to solicit information from the respondents on whistleblower policy.
The quantitative date produced from the surveys will be thoroughly examined utilizing statistical methods such as descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. These analytical tools will be used to find patterns and linkages in the data providing a quantitative view on the assessment of whistleblower policy and corruption eradication in the Nigeria public service.
